Registration is open from 10 March to 1 July 2026.

Registration is mandatory.

Early-bird registration deadline: 15 May 2026.

Registration fees (including VAT) cover access to the symposium, a welcome cocktail on 23 September, coffee breaks, and lunches on 24 and 25 September. 

An optional gala dinner will take place on 24 September.

Two options are proposed : basic registration without gala dinner OR registration with gala dinner.

⇒ The IJPB Symposium 2026 offers a valuable opportunity for EARLY-CAREER postdoctoral researchers to showcase their work ! 

Upon selection by the Scientific Committee, four early-career scientists (postdoctoral researchers who graduated less than 7 years ago will be offered the opportunity to give a talk, one in each session. A dedicated session to meet IJPB researchers will be organised on the morning of 23 September, ahead of the start of the symposium. 
Their registration fees (including the gala dinner) and hotel costs (for up to 3 nights) will be reimbursed.

Following established guidelines taking into account maternal leaves

To apply, please tick the relevant box in the registration and submission forms and provide an abstract for your talk together with the required documents (curriculum vitae, letter from your laboratory confirming coverage of travel costs). Reimbursement will be made after the event.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: By registering to IJPB Symposium 2026, you agree to be photographed during the symposium, and you authorize the Institute Jean-Pierre Bourgin for Plant Sciences to reproduce or distribute pictures representing you, as long as they do not harm your private life, in the frame of the activities of the IJPB. This authorization is valid for the whole duration of use of the images.

The symposium has a maximum capacity of 190 participants, so we recommend early registration.

  • Submission deadline is 15 May 2026, via the Abstract submission page in the Menu.  
  • A certificate of attendance can be provided upon request after the symposium.
