Massimiliano CORSO

Keynote speaker in session 4

Institute Jean-Pierre Bourgin for Plant Sciences, Versailles

Profile

Massimiliano Corso is a plant biologist and researcher at INRAE at the Institute Jean-Pierre Bourgin for Plant Sciences (IJPB) (INRAE, AgroParisTech, Université Paris-Saclay, France), exploring seed biology and specialized metabolites within the framework of metabolomic, multi-omic and functional genomic approaches. His research examines how seeds interact with their environment, focusing on how they can reshape their specialized metabolome for stress response and adaptation (e.g., heat, drought, pathogens), as well as on seed–microbe interactions to enhance seed quality and sustainable agriculture. His work bridges fundamental plant science and agroecological solutions through international collaborations and large-scale EU and national projects.
